I have a 2.2 from Nottingham in law. I want to go on to further study. There were extenuating circumstances regarding my grades which my tutor will state in any reference but I'm not sure that will be enough to get into top law schools. They are heavily over subscribed with candidates with 2.1s/1sts. I think I would be able to return to Nottingham to do an LLM. It is a top law school but due to my disability I want to study in London as I'd have a greater support network. Do I have any chance of KCL/UCL. I also have family in Edinburgh and Leiden so they could be an option.

I would imagine that while it would be difficult to get into UCL or KCL, it's not completely out of the question. What's the harm in applying, and at least trying to explain your extenuating circumstances.
I mean, the application fees are only like 50 quid.

I seem to remember that KCL is completely free, so even less of a reason for him not to apply!

Thank you Mark and Christopher. I forgot to mention that I have also emailed the departments to ask them directly but I haven't heard back yet.
