Hello, guys!
I wonder if anybody here could help me with a doubt regarding the minimum scores required on subsections of the TOEFL by some specific universities.
My total score on the TOEFL test is112, with the following subsections scores: 30 on Reading, 24 on Listening, 28 on Speaking and 30 on Writing. Even tough this is a good general score, I've noticed that some universities require minimum scores on the subsections (v.g. Columbia, NYU and Harvard), and I didn't achieve the minimum usually required on the listening (which is 25 or 26).
Has anyone experienced something like this, or know anyone that faced a similar situation and could give me some advice? Should I take the test again, even with a good total score?
Thanks in advance.

Hi ansampaio,
Since you have a good overall score, I don't think that these universities will automatically reject your application only because you obtained 24 in the listening section. For instance, Georgetown requires minimum scores of 25 in each subsections and I was granted admittance last month even if my speaking score is only 24 (109 overall).
I can't confirm that every university has a similar politic but I think you should apply and not worry too much.
Regards,

I have several tests. So far, my best score is 102. Even though I have achieved 27/28 in all abilities, I just don't have a test in which all of them are above 25 at the same time. Usually one of them is bellow 25 and it is never the same. Harvard, for example will ask you to keep trying and inform them your result.
I don't know about Columbia... but I guess yor score is so high that it won't be a problem at all.
