Anyone interested in sharing some TOEFL experiences? I just took the test and thought it was tremendously silly (in a bad, obnoxious way, that is). What about you? Did you think it was easy? Tough? Do you agree with me that it's got not too much to do with one's proficiency in English (vocabulary, grammar, etc.)? Maybe we could prevent a few future test takers from (bad) surprises.

I'm afraid there's no true shortcut to this. Listening and Reading can be generally trained, of course. But the heavy part are texts that are just uncomprehensible even in your native language - for the latter I have no real advice. good luck with your test!
