IELTS Score LSE

eye&I

I scored 7,5 overall, achieving 8 in reading and listening, 7,5 in speaking but only 6,5 in writing, while LSE requires 7 (although in an overall score of 7.5). Do you think I need to retake the test? I send a waiver request, but I have received no answer yet.
Thank you!

In the interest of saving time if LSE gives a negative response, it might be for the best if you just gave the IELTS again. Focus on the writing element as I have a feeling based on the other scores that you might just not have been prepared for the test, but actually possess the potential to score higher.

Sorry for the late response and hope you get in :)

Dear eye&I,

Was your waiver request accepted by LSE?

Hi,

I am in the same situation. Did the LSE accept your waiver request?

Same here. Achieved Overall toefl score but failed to meet the requirement for the writing section. for those who asked a waiver, did you have any answers?

For people who have submitted a waiver to LSE regarding IELTS. I fall behind with 0.5 only in writing and already took the exam three times, what did you state in the waiver document? They state that it will only be accepted in terms of illness or wars. So what did you state?
