IELTS and Us Colleges of Law

Hi!
I passed the cambridge IELTS exam last year in order to join a LLM program in United States, but on the websites of these colleges of law, it seems that TOEFL is required!!!
So what about the recognition of IELTS score in Thoose Universities (Columbia, Harvard, NYU, Cornell, Yale, Boston College, Georgetown...)?
Thanks

IELTS is mainly requested in UK and AUS (although UK or AUS universities accept the TOEFL).

In USA, you need to pass the TOEFL. Be aware that it has changed (you have now a speaking part and the writing task has two parts).

However, you should ask them what they think about the IELTS. They should know this test and they could accept it as a proof of your English level.
