Hi everyone,
As many of you, I plan to apply for several LLM programmes.
I have a strong legal background (graduated from the Sorbonne University, former student of the University of Bologna, LLM at the Institute for European Studies - University of Brussels, internship at the European Commission, few research works published, Junior Lecturer in European Law in 2 universities at the age of 23) but my TOEFL score is slightly lower than the Entry Requirements from major Universities (101/120 instead of 109/120 or 106/120).
My question is therefore to know whether it is absolutely necessary to meet those requirements or if I should apply anyway ? (UCL, KC, Bristol, ...)
Thanks in advance to all of you for replying and good luck for your applications !

Can you run a 100m sprint in less than 10'' ? Coz that's what's really important. (And, not anymore, being or having been a Junior Lecturer in European Law in 2 universities at the age of 23, which is, sorry for being rude, very common nowadays...)

Hi. As far as as I am concerned, although my personal best is only 11"08, I have been admitted to Harvard and Yale (still can't decide btw). So, although I think it's an important criterion, I don't think it's decisive and if your credentials are otherwise strong, the admissions committees won't take to much into account your 100m sprint chrono. Good luck anyway.

I think thr TOEFL score criterion is put there so the university can be sure that you can follow the programme. Otherwise, other stuff is important.
