Scholarships from U.S. Law Schools

Hi,

Just wondering about how people go about getting scholarships/grants/bursaries in order to attend LL.M. programs in the U.S.

I've been accepted to some schools but have not been awarded any automatic scholarships. Does anyone have experience in discussing this with issue with a school and successfully obtaining one?

Hi,
I think it depends on each school. Yesterday I got email from BU, that I am admitted and even if I didn´t ask for scholarship, they granted me 5 000 USD (not much, but better than nothing..)

If you are an international student, generally all the universitites award the scholarship on their own... however if you have not received it then you may ask them. Probably they will ask you for an essay and would ask you to write why do you need scholarship and why they should award you....

I got $20K from cardozo and $15K from Franklin Pierce.... but for them I had applied at the time of filling the online application..
