Hi Guys!
Just a quick generic question here - I have applied to several US Law Schools and back then when I was applying I indicated on my form that I am still shortlisting and applying for scholarships. Accordingly, I did not list any specific scholarships I have applied to. I have also requested for the university to consider me for financial aid.
I have now applied for 1 major scholarship and will be applying for a few more (if i managfe to find any others). Do I need to email the schools to inform them about this change? I would most definitely inform them if i get awarded but not sure if I should be bothering them at the application stage? On the other hand, if I have no scholarship applications listed, it might reflect negatively on my application which may lead to the assumption that I am not applying for any scholarship and just asking for financial aid from the university (i.e. the easy way out).
Let me know your thoughts!
Cheers,
G
