I just finished my interview yesterday. Anybody knows what's the LSAT/GPA requirement for this two year JD program and when we would expect a decision?

You made a great choice applying to this program. I read somewhere on this board where it was stated that the LSAT is in the 150s. I think the most importamt factor is work experience. Did you have a phone interview? if not are you here in the US? Decision will be made in April as stated in NU website. Have you checked your application status.

Is there anybody out there who applied to this program with a decision from Northwestern?

Ouch...I am waitlisted by this program. I've got 3 waitlists yet no admission and I've run out of applications. Guess I'll need to wait for another year.

When did you get the decision. Any acceptance to this program out there?

It was yesterday. I received their email on my blackberry in the early morning. The email said the review is complete and I needa log in to my account to view the result. So I hurried to the office to find my ID & password log in, downloaded a letter, only to find I was waitlisted. Best of luck to everyone else who applied to this program!

Those who were waitlisted!
Can you please provide some update on your current status? Have been admitted to 2-year JD and if so do you mind sharing your stats (LSAT, experience etc) here so that we can all get some feeling about this program?
I would highly apprecaite any feedback please.

Hi guys,
Can you please give us an update. Those that where waitlisted, were you eventually admitted? How soon does NU admit students?
Thanks

No. I was killed. The slots were reduced from 10 to 5. The LSAT is now in the mid 160s. They should weigh work experience more than LSAT and GPA. As for work experience, it looks like just being there is not enough, you needa demonstrate that you're made into a valuable asset of your firm. Hope it helps.

Hello eveybody!
COuld any of the folks who completed the 2-jd at NW comment on the post-graduation outcomes? Was it easy to find a job in Big Law?
I have an LLM from NYU and have been practicing law for 6 years now. I want to stay in the US and have reached the conclusion that LLM+NY Bar is not enough...
Is this a solution to the foreign lawyer job search struggle or should I go for a 3 year JD?
Thanks!!!
