Are you really sure about it? Because mine has not gone blank yet and I applied this year with YLS faculty member's recommendation... But if your information is true, then perhaps getting into YLS is fiercely competitive...

It´s totally true, he even sent me a screenshot from his app portal and his checklist is gone. Besides, with all due respect my friend, I do not doubt about your excellent credentials, but the fact that you have recommendations from a YLS faculty member, does not necessarily guarantees you admission. I have met a lot of people with recommendations from faculty members from the schools to which they apply, and they don´t make it into such schools. (Which I do not mean nor hope it is your case).
On the other hand, the fact that his checklist is already blank does not mean that everyone´s should also be blank by now, mine is not blank either. It still 1:16 pm in New Heaven, so I guess they do it manually and they are for sure not finished.

With all due respect to the wonderful (inactive user) friend, who is feeling excited about his/her friend, when it comes to Harvard and Yale, there is always a hoax or two before the actual decisions come out every year.
