Congratulations to all of you guys! I'm now looking for someone to sublease my room during summer. If any of you guys plan to join EAP program, my apartment will be a good choice to stay. It's just 3-minute walk to law school, and 5-minute walk to grocery store and bus stop (you need to take the bus to the Central Ground if you plan to participate in EAP). I am from Colombia. I chose U.Va over Cornell and NYU for the family atmosphere and general quality of life. My husband and child will be joining me. I also wanted a program that was smaller and allowed me to take classes with the JDs as opposed to having contact only with other LL.M students. U.Va has a very small program. They probably take a long time because with only 49 to 50 spots they need to make sure there is balance in their choice of LL.M candidates.

Also, we will be living in Ivy Gardens. U.Va alums have been very insistent in recommending it to us.

Basically, the best options for housing are: The Paviliion and the Ivy Gardens.
Both are very close to the Law School. Ivy Gardens is an older construction than The Pavillion, but it has more green area. The Pavillion is way newer, a lit bit more expensivem but it has its perks.

Guys I am disappointed with UVA, it was my dream college. I had interview with Polly Lawson too. But UVA hasn't given me a decision till now, I am requested so many times and now it seems they have refused to revert back even. 8 months since my application was submitted. 6 months since its completed. I mean reject or accept but say something. I am ok with rejection but at least email me the rejection letter. Disappointed.
