Hey all! I am a litigation lawyer from India and applicant to the LST program. I've created a WhatsApp group for this year's applicants to Stanford's LLM programs, across specializations. Just thought it might be a more informal, accessible and convenient forum for applicants to connect and share experiences.

I would like to ask you guys; how long does it take to receive an email from SLS telling you your application is complete with the application status check link?

I've submitted my application in the last minute, but haven't received any!!

Is this normal?

Hey! So in my experience they were very quick. I got both an acknowledgement email and access to SLS's online application status page, within a couple of days of applying. But I applied around the second week of November, well in advance of the application deadline.

I think this duration varies a lot across the applicant pool, so I wouldn't worry. However, if the delay persists, perhaps you could consider checking in with SLS via email. Hope this helps and all the best for your application!

Last week I had my interview for the environmental LL.M. program, the interviewer mentioned that the final answers were due first week of april.

Because as you guys know the decision date for almost other schools is April 1st or 3rd. So, basically, I couldn't wait for Stanford's decision if it is after those dates.
What is usually the decision date?
