More applications this year

Hello,

Both from my referee and from a scholarship program, I have heard that the application numbers this year are irregularly high. Is there any way of finding out whether this is a general trend or just a coincidence?

It has me a little bit worried. I applied at Universities were I would usually have a good shot of gettin in (at least in one of them). However, if the application numbers are much higher than in recent years that may change... It would be really cool, if some of you had some informations on this.

wouldn’t be shocked if this were the case, given covid probably put a lot of people off last year! Where have you applied?
