Hi All, does anyone know what proportion of applicants admitted in the first round secures scholarships or how many MIDS Alumni Fund scholarships there are?

Hi, did you apply for a scholarship? I sent in my application on 28 February 2021 but i am yet to receive any acknowledgement from MIDS

Hi, did you apply for a scholarship? I sent in my application on 28 February 2021 but i am yet to receive any acknowledgement from MIDS
 

Hi, yes I did.  This is why I am wondering what the size of the scholarship pot is.  Good luck.

Hi, Adnan.

Where did you see that deadline? In my letter it says that in order to accept the offer we should send the acceptance form and pay the deposit within two weeks of receiving the answer on the scholarship request (which should be out only by the end of the month).

In other words, the final deadline for acceptance should be around April 10-15.

Hi StressMax, sure, but mind that I wasn’t accepted in the first round, I was placed on the priority reserve list as I mentioned before. As for my profile... Four years of dispute resolution practice in IP, Russian LLB and LLM diplomas with honours from one of the top Russian law schools. Two publications on IP law issues. One intervention in international conference. Don’t really know if it matters, but when I was a senior in high school I won intellectual TV quiz and that’s how I got accepted (as the first prize) into one of the top law schools of the country.

I am also on the waiting list currently. I have the same question.

I haven't accepted mine yet. Waiting for the scholarship decisions to see if I can accept it or not.


I'm still waiting for the admission results for other schools, but, for now, either QM, Leiden or SciencePo. However, MIDS is my top choice, so I am hoping to be able to make it this year.

Has anyone heard anything about scholarship results?

I called them and was informed that the scholarship application results would be out by early April at the latest.
