Hey guys:
I am pursuing an LLM and I expect to graduate in May. I am getting opportunities in small law firms, although they are not final offers. It all depends on whether these law firms will get the projects they are hoping to get.
What about bigger law firms? Some partners in these law firms informed me that I missed the main recruitment process, but that there might be some opportunities in the Spring. I speak several languages as well, but not Spanish or Portuguese. I am interested in international trade. I am getting 2 opposite views on where I should apply. Some say apply to the small ones, others say your chances are greater in the bigger ones. I am still not barred back home or here.
Can I also work as a counsel or law clerk (while being sponsored for an H1b) before taking the bar? Thanks!
