i am applying for LLM 2017-18. the admissions office is asking about the legal research paper and the legal writing .

i don't have a clue of legal research paper , what it should be written and length of it ? ( i suppose it's the research I select once I get enrolled , wonder why they are asking for it now ?)

What is the content of legal writing to be written and length of it ?
