Seriously, though. Anybody should be able to write a good SOP given a month with no other engagements. Get somebody to proofread it.

What are you writing that needs a full month? If you cannot put into words what motivates you in mere hours, how will you write essays at universities on topics that may be new to you? I admit I find it a little disturbing that anyone needs more than a couple of hours to write a personal statement!
