I have been placed on the waitlist for one of the LLM programs offered by Georgetown. I wondered if anybody knows the probability of being selected from the waitlist?

I was selected off the waitlist. You should send a letter to the admissions committee outlining updates to your application (e.g., awards, publications, internships, etc.). If you don’t have any updates, find some. I forgot exactly when I sent the letter, but I was accepted off the W/L the same day I sent it.
