Pls I want to apply for an LLM in a UK, US, Canadian university or any university of repute in Europe which teaches in English. I'm from Nigeria and attended a Nigerian university.

I really want suggestions as to a good area of specialty that is NOT popular. I want to carve a niche for myself in an area of law that people don't rush into.

Also, I narrowly missed out from a second class honours grade in my LLB (meaning I came out with a 2:2). What are the possibilities of securing admission in these universities and stand a chance to get any scholarship or grant (either partial or full)?

I would really appreciate your sincere and kind pieces of advice.

Thanks a lot.

Since you are Nigerian, I would pick Oil & Gas or Banking law. Lot's of work coming your way in the near future.

I appreciate you advice. But please, which law school do you advice I apply to in view of my not-very-attrative CGPA which is 3.3 on a 5 points scale? I want a law school where I stand a great chance of securing admission to study that course. More importantly, I want a law school that is good on those two areas.
