Hey guys!

Reserve group student here. I thought of starting a new thread for waitlisted students at CLS. It would be nice if waitlisted students would come forward so we have an idea of how big the reserve group actually is, and share if whether or not they intend to stay in the reserve group.

Greeting, I got placed in the reserve group and also interested to know how many of us there are! At the moment, I have offers from UCB and Georgetown to do international law. Am very much inclined to pick Georgetown because of DC's location and the number of courses they offer in that specialism if you may. 

What about yourself? How are you deciding on your offers so far?    

Hi!  So I currently have an offer from Penn and I am thinking of securing my spot there while waiting to hear from CLS! Don't really know when they'll get back to us though

Congrants on the offer! I think it makes sense to secure the spot first (of course only if the deposit is at all reasonably affordable) and see whatever it's going to come through CLS.  With our deadline to reply being the 1 of April my guess is that we would only hear from them after that day? 

Yeah, I hope we'll have some news throughout April

Ikr. You know how they said they only introduced this Reserve Group thing this year because they are not doing rolling admissions - I wonder why this is the case apart from covid being potentially the reason.  

Also - just wondering, you know the questionnaire they asked us to fill in, did you happen to put in additional info in the last box for them to consider?

I was also placed in the Reserve Group.
I think we might hear from them only after April 15th - the deadline for admitted students to enroll...
However, I am already comfortable and happy with the decision of studying at NYU and I am not thinking that much about CLS!

Hi! I was placed in the Reserve Group as well. The email sent by GLS was a bit confusing, as they basically said that it was the first time they were implementing the Reserve Group as they were not doing rolling admissions, but I read threads from previous years in which the Reserve Group was also used. Anyway, I asked adcom if they would accept a letter of continued interest and they said that it wasn't really necessary. Good luck to everyone waiting and let's hope we can get off the RG :)

I was placed in the reserve group as well. Currently holding admission offers from Berkeley and NYU and I’ve been waitlisted at Penn.

Putting down a deposit for UCB at the end of this month and looking forward to the California life! :)

Well, the app tracker says 12 students + 6 people from this thread including me so that’s already 18 people. But other than that, I really don’t know....
Are you considering any other schools?

has anyone heard back in the reserve group? Sent CLS an email at the beginning of April and haven't even received an acknowledgement. 

anyone just else justreceived reserve group update? said the group would remain active  in the coming weeks? 
or anyone has just admitted or rejected?

Hi guys, I'm an applicant for the 2023 fall semester and I've been placed on the reserve group for CLS. I was wondering if anyone has had success getting off the waitlist in the past, or if you have any suggestions on how to improve my chances of being accepted. Would be greatly appreciate any advice！
