dinae013

I'll be having my interview this Thursday (19/03), so excited and nervous! I hope the best for everyone!

p.s.: wish me luck too!

Hey! I hope you made it to securing a position.
May I know when exactly did you receive your interview call?
I am anxiously waiting for mine to come lol

I am anxiously waiting for mine as well. I really need help from previous scholars when exactly did you guys receive your interview call?

Just an email--check your email and junk mail regularly!
Last year, the first email notifying me about the interview was on 17 February 2015 but it went to my junk mail (and I didn't check) and I received 3 emails warning me that I haven't book my interview slot (and they went to my junk mail, and I didn't check too).

I was aware of them when I want to clean up my email and organise the emails into folders at around the first/second week of March, and tried to explain this situation to the secretariat, and got the interview slot, it was like a miracle! I suppose it is.

So for you all, my tips would be: CHECK YOUR EMAIL & JUNK MAIL REGULARLY

Guys,
They pretty much ask you about your application. And some questions regarding the UK (mine was related to British culture). If you read your own application carefully, you should be fine. It is also important, as they stated in the email, to have answers as to why you choose the schools you did. But that's about it, there is no tricky or unexpected question there, they are interested in getting to know you better.

Hi Guys, I had my interview on March 02. All of the questions they asked me, were related to what I wrote in my forms, Leadership qualities, Networking skills, and benefit to your home country after when you get back. There would be three people in panel and you will find them very friendly and encouraging. They kept me engaged for almost 50 mints even it was scheduled for 30 min.

Rameyshaaban....I think I have shared all what they asked me. Another important thing which I would recommend is to focus on the examples (if any) you have given in your forms. As I have already been to UK to do my Masters so they mostly as k questions how was my experience there. Then They asked related questions.

I had a very good interview but I still think I am not a strong candidate to be awarded a Chevening as I have already been there and they mostly prefer new comers. ( I guess)
