Hey Siri,

I won't be taking TOEFL. I will apply for waiver. As far as courses go...I have 2-3 courses in mind...just have to decide which one to go for...most probably corporate law, commercial law & arbitration. What about you? Which courses are you planning to apply for?

Have you started with Letter of recommendation and personal statement?

I have heard its better to apply early, I am trying to apply in early review..I have applied to couple of universities...Harvard, Columbia, Cornell...rest I am working on.. How about you? Have you applied yet? In which schools are you planning to apply? I am applying through LSAC to schools which have asked to apply through it..otherwise I am applying direct.

Not all schools.. Some are asking for applying through LSAC only, some are giving choice to apply either through LSAC or directly. Like Nyu and Berkeley are asking to apply thru LSAC only and Columbia has given a choice.

I am currently in US only. It's been ling since I passed out, but I sm from Chandigarh. What about you? Where are from?? Recently passed out??

My fiancee is a B.S.L. L.L.B. graduate from India. I am currently searching for a masters program from a US school for her that would guarantee her a job in USA upon completion of the program. I have heard that international students doing LLM in IPR have a good chance. Is this true? She is even ready to change her area of study i.e. go for MBA or other relevant fields. Please suggest me what could be done in this case?

Hi, I was wondering if any past applicants from India could tell me if it is necessary to give the TOEFL or the IELTS to apply for/get the Inlaks Scholarship. I have applied for a TOEFL waiver for all universities (as my first law degree was taught entirely in English) and all US universities have accepted this. However, would it help my chances for getting scholarships if I give the TOEFL? Any responses would be very helpful. Thanks!
