Admission to California State Bar then take New York Bar Exam

Hi,

I would like to ask if qualified foreign attorneys from civil law systems without a US LLM and who were admitted with the California State Bar can take the New York Bar exam without such US LLM. Thanks!

No, you'd need to do an LLM or have a common law education to take the NY bar exam. NY and CA do not have reciprocity, either.
