I have been placed on the waiting list :(

Hey, i'm assuming from your name that you're Canadian as well?
I've also been placed on the waiting list. Two things,
either it's a polite way of saying "no" or there is still a chance. Either way it's better than getting a "no" response right away. Hope is good.

Guys is the course a Diploma or a Degree - the repeated use of the term LLM Diploma has created a doubt in my mind.
Posted Oct 29, 2009 08:40
I think "diploma" is degree in Italian :p But I mean, as it is a project of both UNICRI and the University of Turin, I'd say it surely is a normal degree..LL.M! And not just a post-graduate certificate...:)

thanks George, i will seek this clarification in the acceptance letter too that i send, i suggest that you do the same, so that they realize this dilemma of students and use appropriate terminology... ha ha.

Do you guys think that besides financial issues, is worth to quit job, leave wife for four/five months to pursue this degree?
Does it really high up chances of landing a job in international law/relations? Or is just another program like the hundreds offered?
What about that guy that said that campus life is disappointing? What about academic quality?
Thanks

Dear mcclane, i am a fresh law graduate and am fortunate enough to get through. Well the information that i can give you is that the course is said to be good nd it wil give u oppurtunities to work in international organizations, whether u wil get a job or not is however unclear. The internships that u get 'may be' without monetary remuneration. So all said nd done it is a risk, is it worth taking or not has to be decided by ur individual circumstances. The information i gave u is based on the e mails i got from two former students. As for me i am going for it, cause i feel that it is a risk worth taking.

hey guys,
I received a place - just wondering if the UNICRI people sent you more detailed information about the course?
