Hi guys, I did it last year. The course will be taught in English - both practical and theoretical parts.
Definitely, it gives you good opportunities for networking in the field and some have already got internships at UNICRI and other organizations (also, some students from the previous batch have got some good job opportunities). Moreover, there are several people who embarked on PhDs after having done the course.

I looked for the people who had done LLM at UNICRI via Facebook. Some of them replied and in general they were very positive. High-profile and professional teachers, helpful tutors, insight into UNICRI, moot court, + Torino itself. However, there used to be some organisational problems, but it should be resolved after having been discussed with UNICRI leaders. Some complained on short deadlines for submitting papers etc. - but that depends on the sort of student you are.
Well, I will say only that I'm applying. And as far as Torino is concerned - I've been living here a bit already and I like it very much.
Hopefully this short message will be helpful for sb.

What are the differences,if any, between LLM Diploma and LLM degree? And can a holder of LLM obtained from UNICRI proceed to read his Phd?

Well they say its a "Master of Laws" program - I believe that in many European Countries "Diploma" is the equivalent of a master's degree. I was confused as in Asia "Diploma" means something very different.
I guess today is the day of the results. Good luck everyone!

Relax! It's 9 am in the morning in Turin! :) I believe all the emails are being sent out together. We'll just have to wait and watch. Do post all acceptances on the forum!

I just got this email:
"We would like to inform you that you have been placed on the waiting list for the Masters programme in International Crime and Justice."
Apparently I'm going to be updated of my status by the 6th of November! Sigh!

Ruma, never mind. I also got the same answer. Let's see which way the wheel of fortune turns. However, the plan B should be ready if this fails. There are so many options of doing a first-class LL.M. from a renowned law school which can earn laurels for us in the days to come as we embed ourselves deeply into the legal profession. Therefore, start working on Plan B as you wait as it might be a polite manner of saying " No". However, there is always hope.

Hi guys I also got in but no scholarship...
Do u know if there r some possibilities for European citizens to get a job in Italy.
What about the cost of living? How much would we need per month to live?
Thx for any answer.
Cheers.

as for the cost of renting a room, see my post under another subject on the UNICRI forum. as for other costs I cannot give a precise answer since I had extra spending and lack of regularity. anyway Turin is not the cheapest city but students do live here ;-) Drinks are expensive for me here...
job etc. - i'm looking for it now myself, but i don't think it's easy these days. still i'm optimist, if you try hard, you get it. i hope i'll get the LLM next year...
to happy UNICRI students - please forward me your LLM applications at kowalewski_j@wp.pl so that I could learn from you. thanks :-)
