hello all,
i am from mexico city and have also been accepted to the UCIHL. i was told they are way behind schedule and we should not worry about the deposit we were supposed to make by april 30 to confirm our participation. we will soon get the package with all the necessary info. I had to ask them though to scan the letter of acceptance for me, which they kindly did, because i needed it to apply for scholarships. In case you are in the same situation, i suggest you call them.
i am now looking for accomodation. if anyone has info on that or already knows where you'll be living, i would be happy if you could share it with me. Mrs. Iona Martinez sent me this link: http://www.unige.ch/dase/bulog/ with different options and i have found it quite useful but haven't applied to any yet. I'm thinking it would be nice to be close to other UCIHL students.
hope to hear from you soon!

Does any one know about the acceptance for the second deadline- that was on the 31st of March?

Dear Nadedja,
I don't know anything about the second deadline but it took them exactly 6 weeks to deliver results for the Jan. 31st deadline so i assume you should be getting an answer via mail in the next couple days. however, i have been in touch with the admissions office and i know they are quite busy and behind schedule, so if you haven't by the end of next week, maybe you should call them. best of luck,
frida

I'm interested in getting the Master in Advanced Studies in International Humanitarian Law that the University Centre for International Humanitarian Law offers. I was wondering if you could help me by providing the following information:
Admission requirements
1. What are the admission requirements regarding education or in general?
2. About the language, what are the requirements I have to meet to enter the programme..like french, english or else? Is TOEFL or IELTS needed? What's the score that I should get in both?
3. I won't receive my diploma before the deadline, but I will receive my degree before the programme starts. I want to know if I can apply because I really want to begin my Master in the 2008. Is there a possibility, in that case, to receive a conditional offer?
I will be very grateful for your responses. :)
