Hey guys...my scholarship application has been not been accepted in the first round. they're putting me on a reserve list, but i'm not too hopeful now. :(
Anyone receive a positive response?

Hi Andy! My response is exactly the same as yours. This is tricky. If we were put in the reserve list, do we still have the chance to be offered a place even we fail to get the scholarship in the second round? (Because I am also applying other scholarship from local government which will be resulted in May too).

I have been told of the result of my scholarship application. The same outcome, it was unsuccessful.
I think this course without scholarship does not worth. I am considering my other routes as I was offered some places at UCL, QMUL and Kings college, in the UK.
The tuition and living costs in London would be less than MIDS & Geneva and their reputation cannot be compared too.

This is so depressing. Have they given the scholarship to anyone!?

I am still having trouble adjusting to the fact that I can't go to MIDS. :(

Hi guys... I heard that usually around 7 to 8 students receive scholarships. Don't know who has received it till now.
I haven't received any news at all from MIDS.
So I am still waiting for the admission results.

@Louisea, I am also admitted to QMUL. Do you take the comparative and international dispute settlement? I think I will apply for contruction law at King's College too.

@Andy what I meant by local government is the one of where I live now, not Switzerland's government Do you want to give that "reserve list" a chance? I think I may...

I still haven't heard anything from the University. Everyone is getting their scholarship result and I haven't even received a response. Is anyone in touch with MIDS office? I had written a mail to their office 5 days back but no response. I am hoping that i hear from them soon.

I think the process of allocation of scholarship does not work efficiently.
Let's be REALISTIC guys and do not blindly stay optimistic.
I personally do not see any chance for reserve list people, because all those who have been granted scholarship will get it. I would not wait for the result of second round selection.

I'll certainly go for my options at London, either QMUL or UCL.

I have not heard from MIDS until a moment ago - they changed my staus to admitted something like 10 days ago on the online tracker, but I received no email to that extent. I even contacted them 7 days ago with inquiry about the scholarships and stuff, however no response was recevied till a few minutes ago. They explained that my application was regarded as successful for the first round of scholarship evaluation and that, if I accept, they would forward the application to the special committee that will assess the application form for the scholarship. The scholarship is supposedly sponsored by the Hans Wildorf Foundation...

It seems that some new emails should be expected in the next few days.

Hey everyone!! Any responses from the university? March is almost ending and the university still hasn't replied. Don't you guys find it a little strange.

I got my acceptance a week ago so they're definitely notifying some people! Deadline for payment of deposit is 31 March

I still haven't heard from them as well. It is already 26th don't know when they plan to inform us our status. Anyways let's hope for the best.
