it depends. :-) I mean depends on the course. But I think it was a good choice

I am in the USA. I know where you at. I am base in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I hope all of us get accepted. I applied at four Universities in sweden put Lund is on my top list. Do you know that if you are U.S citizen or Permanent resident Lund University participate in the FAFSA aid program. Lund can process fafsa stanford loan for you? Let me know if you not aware so I can furnish you with more information on it.
Seltue - where are you in the US? I'm in between Baltimore and D.C. - maybe if we're close to each other we could meet up.
Like each of you, I am soooo anxious about the admission results. But for those of you who are in the program (Satine!), has Lund and the program lived up to your expectations?

Hello guys!
Im preparing to apply next year for the maritime law programme. I just graduated last year in December. I do not have much experience in that particular field but I do have some experience in the transportation fieldaviation actually.
I share some of the same questions that everyone has at the beginning of this process
As far as I was able to read from your posts, there are many foreign students attending Lund. Is there any student from Latin-America? I wonder if they consider acceptance based on the country where you graduated.
I see that the HR programme is the most popular programme. Does any of you know how competitive the maritime programme is?
Are extracurricular activities considered for acceptance? What kind of activities will be considered?
I will apply for scholarship, but Im not optimistic about that. I understand you have to prove that you have SEK 73.000 (7300x10) in a bank account if you are a non EU/EEA student. Is that correct?
Tks in advance for your help!

Hi,
Nobody knows what kind of previous experience and activity is considered. I had 5 years work experience but not in the HR field. And country, yes they try to accept students from all over the world but I don't know what are the preferences. The only thing I realized that they want to support the students from the Former Sovjet Union. (human rights programme). And I have 2 classmates from Latin-America.

Good news. I just receive email today from Anders Tröjer
Master Programme Administrator (Faculty of Law
Lund University) and he said that they will make the decision this week and send it to the national admissions office, and VHS will then send us the notification.

So, does that mean we should be expecting an email before April 29? Did Anders say the actual notifications will be sent out this week as well, or just that they are making their final decisions this week?

yup i got the same email from Mr. Anders, but probably we still have to wait until 29 because VHS need some time to publish the results

Did you and Seltue send him an email first asking about the status of applications and was he simply replying? Or is this a general email that is supposed to go to all that applied. I didn't get an email from him, but I also didn't send him one. Should I be worried? :-/

Giustizia, I just inquiry about the release date by emailing Ander. It not a genera email. Just a respond to the email I sent.

s + w(p)... so much easier said than done!
Its odd - I have my Commercial Law final exam on Apr. 29 - which in that context, the day could not be approaching faster. On the other hand, we get our admission notices on Apr. 29, and that date seems so far away.

Thank you Seltue! This process is soo nerve-racking! patience is truly a virtue :/

Please note that date for Notification of Admission has changed. It will be published in Your Pages on May 8 according to https://www.studera.nu/studera/897.html.
I guess the 29 of april is not possible.

I wonder if we will still receive the official email notification on the 29th. Fortunately, if accepted, I can drive my visa application over to the embassy that afternoon. Still, I'm worried about the processing time. The embassy will not be electronically processing applications this summer because they are updating their computer system.
At least I will hopefully know by graduation (May 11)!

Well, whatever it means, it makes me feel better! The rumor is (from the studera facebook group), that each program for Lund assigns all 999s or all 1s.
At the minimum, it means that the admissions requirments are met.
