LLMs commencing in January/February 2018?

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has a list of LLMs, either focussed in the area of Human Rights or Intentional Law, that commence in January/February 2018. Any universities located outside of the UK are also welcome.

I only know of the University of Aberdeen's LLM in Human Rights and Criminal Justice, Leiden University's LLM in Public International Law, and the University of Amsterdam's LLM in Public International Law.

Although my priority is to start an LLM in September/October (ideally at the University of Essex for an LLM International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law or at Leiden University for a Master of Laws in Advanced Studies in Public International Law with a Specialisation in Peace, Justice and Development), for personal circumstances I might have to delay my return to academia by a few months and I want to explore what options are available to be in this regard.

Hopeful of any replies!

In addition to the above mentioned programmes, I have also found the following:

1. Brussels School of International Studies - LLM in Human Rights Law or LLM in International Law
2. University of Dundee - LLM International Law and Security
3. University College Dublin - LLM in International Human Rights

Does anyone know of any other programmes OR could anyone provide comments on the following options?

Hi there! Are you sure that Leiden's LLM also begins in February? I couldn't find that information anywhere

Hi guys!
Due to private issues, I'm also applying to Leiden, Maastricht and Brussels for winter 2018 intake.
I've explored question of winter commencement and Leiden answered that indeed they have two programms which start in February but warned me that winter students just join the one who started in September and "there might be courses which require more knowledge from the first semester, that you don’t have if you start in February".
Practically the same info gave me UvA, while maastricht assured me that: "it does not matter that you begin as it were in period 4, it is still possible to follow the programme with success."

However, I'm not greatly concerned about this and believe that programme is constructed so that it could be successfully passed whenewher we start.
I'd also recommend You to consider Maastricht University - they've got few interesting programmes which also include human rights courses.

I'll be willing to discuss any further questions!
