Hi everyone!
I should be starting masters in September and currently my options are the following: University of Strathclyde- LLM/MSc Criminal Justice and Penal Change; Leiden University- MSc Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Both courses look very interesting and similar between each other, my only doubt is whether having an LLM would be better for my career than having a MSc. What type of master would employers prefer and/or consider better for a future employee to have? Whether it is practicing law as a lawyer/solicitor or working for an institution, is any of the 2 masters more esteemed than the other? I see that Strathclyde University gives the possibility to choose between LLM or MSc so that made me think there might not be much of a difference in this case. Any advice?
Thank you.
