LLM Europe - Corporate/Business Law

Hello all,

I'm looking to apply for a LLM in Europe in 2023, in a course which is in English and focused in Corporate/Business Law.

With the research I have done, I found that these are the programs that best fit this criteria:

- Sorbonne, Paris (France)
- Assas, Paris (France)
- Erasmus, Rotterdam (Netherlands)
- Maastricht University Corporate and Commercial Law, Maastrich (Netherlands)
- UCL Brussels, Business Law, Brussels (Belgium)

Is anyone aware of any other programs that fit these criteria (in English and and focused in Corporate/Business Law)?

Regards,

Hi Rafael! My name is Daniel, I´m from Peru and I’m currently studying for an LL.M. at IE University in Madrid. I read your post and I really relate to what you’re looking for because I did the same research last year. So, I want to take the opportunity to tell you a little bit about IE’s LL.M. because is a program that I strongly recommend you consider within your options.
In relation to the criteria you mentioned, IE’s LL.M. is entirely in English, and it has four specializations, among which you have International Business Law (IBL), that is the one that I’m studying for (the other ones are International Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property and Technology Law, and International Taxation), for which you will receive a Postgraduate Diploma of Specialist (PgDip).

IE’s IBL LL.M. has a really strong curriculum with a well-balanced mix of specialization courses, focused on corporate and business law, and common module courses that you study with the students of the other specializations, while staying ahead of the trends due to IE’s applied methodologies, experienced practitioners, comparative study of law with legal experts and tech skills focus. Also, and this is something that I one to highlight, in IE you have the opportunity to participate in IE’s Legal Clinic, which allows students to have hands-on experience, through pro bono practice.
I’ve to say that being here has proven to be a transformational journey, both professionally and personally (https://www.ie.edu/law-school/programs/masters/master-of-laws-llm/).
