Do you have any idea what that means ?
Thank you in advance.

No, I think there are many selection groups and ours is based on "quantity and quality of previous academic studies". And maybe they are looking for a different type of profile for this Master, like people who are already practicing Law...
I don't know what is your situation but as for me, I'm still at Law University, in a 2nd year of Master's by research. Maybe it isn't the profile they are looking for...

I don't think this is the case. I have 2 years of practice in arbitration and attended several moots when I was in college, but I am in the same S.G as you are.
I doesn't make any sense! Why would you not accept anyone? Is the arbitration your 1st option?

Yes, it is my 1st choice !
As for me, I have absolutely no experience in Arbitration ! I haven't even taken the bar exam ! But I have a very good academic curriculum, and I am specialized in French Contract Law and Security Law, but not International Law ! I also won a moot court but I didn't attend several as you did...
So I really don't know what are their criteria to make the groups... You seem to have already some experience in practicing Law, that is not my case... Maybe you're right and the definitive selection will be made during the month of April.
Where are you from by the way ?

It was my only option, I am not interested by the other Master's... I don't know if you're still eligible for your 1st option if you accept your second or third, maybe you should check the PDF file (file to download with your selection results) or send an e-mail...
If I am not accepted in this Arbitration Master's, I'll go to study at Glasgow Law School, I have already been accepted there for an LLM in International Commercial Law.
I have Romanian origins too :) I mean, I am born in Bucarest but I lived all my life in France, my parents left Romania after the Revolution... I have both nationalities anyway and I speak Romanian fluently.

Hey Ana,
I have "Reserve 3" - which apparently means, that my place on the waiting list is "3". Has your status changed yesterday after the second notification? As it still says acceptance in selection group 0 - I wonder if anybody of the waiting list did get accepted... I'm not sure if I should continue waiting as I also have an offer from QMUL...

Hey Elisa,
I fact, I was admitted during the first selection round, a few days after I was notified I had been placed on waiting list... I think the selection is just longer than they told it will be, probably they didn't proceed yet to the second round of selection, you should be patient and wait a few days. But I understand it is stressful, I also had offers from Glasgow and Edinburgh... Normaly you can ask QMUL to defer your acceptance until you have received responses from other universities where you have applied.

You should contact Prof. Shaughnessy directly, she can also admit you. There were some technical problems with studera.nu - there still seem to be vacancies.
