I wish to apply for the 2012 version of the LLM programme offered by WIPO and Turin University. I have a query relating to the same. Kindly any1 answer this query.
Whether the applicant can submit his letters of recommendations with the application and the other documents or the recommenders have to send the recommendations to the Turin University?
Please please answer this query asap. Thank you.

Hi there everyone,
If you don't mind me asking - I was wondering roughly what age you are/what stage you are at in study/career?
I am currently in my last year of law school (5-year degree) and am interested in the LLM in Turin next year (2013) but I don't know if I am too young.
I will be 22 years old - but perhaps they are looking for people who have been working for a few years.
I hope this is not the case :(
Thanks so much for your help,
JB

Hi Everyone
I am a prospective student of LLM IP Turin. I have read your posts and it seems you have a good amount of experience to share. I plan to apply for the 2017-18 batch. Can you please lend me some advice out of your experience to get admission and to get a scholarship. What would be the best way to apply.
Regards
Nitin Sharma

Dear all,
Nice to finally find a forum to discuss the LLM programme in Turin. I have tried to get some contacts of past students from the course secretary but was not helpful at all.
I am from Malta, Europe and currently am looking for a masters in IP. I have been eyeing this programme for some time but somewhat I do find the course details regarding the programme structure as quite vague and do not describe in detail the subjects to be offered. Maybe you can help me bit in this.
My background is in commercial business although I have been working in IP for the past 3 years at the Malta National IP Office.
Below are some questions that I have that I would greatly appreciate if anyone could assist me since this would help me better whether to apply for the LLM course:
1) Is part 1 of the course (the distant learning part) more generic on IP rights and not going into a lot of legal?
2) Is part 2 be covering case laws only on patents, trademarks, designs, trade secrets etc. ?
3) Any idea if the research part would need be also carried out like an investigation of case laws?
My general query is whether this course is more tailored for future attorneys or for someone who is interested to know about IP rights both from a legal standpoint but also from a commercial point of view?
Your assistance would be of great help.
Kind regards,
Ivan
