Hello to everyone,
I have applied for 2 Master specializations at the Maastricht University which are Globalisation and Law- Corporate and Commercial Law and The European Law School. Personally I find both very appealing but if I get admitted to both I will make my choice according to my later job opportunities. Since I do not know anyone who has applied for these Masters which start in September, 2011, I would really appreciate if anyone offers me some info. First I come from Romania where I have been a lawyer for 2 years at a high ranked lawfirm from Bucharest, and I have also already obtained a Master in Law diploma. However, I have unsuccesfully tried in the last few months, to find a legal job in The Netherlands, but I dont speak Dutch and it seems that my education and experience do not value much here. I was curious if there are other people in my situation and if they can advise me 1. on the chances of finding a job after graduating here at Maastricht, 2.on which of the two previously mentioned Masters gives better chances to get hired in NL or in Belgium. 3.And if there is also any Romanian student applying for LLM at Maastricht, I am happy to meet.
I am also curious on the level of difficulty of studying for an LLM at Maastricht.
Thanks and a great day to everyone

Hey Elena,
(I will stick to English for I don t want this to turn into an only Romanian language post.:) I can help you with any advice. I have only applied for Maastricht since I am already living very close to it.

Hey,
Thank you very much for the reply. Indeed I am not sure yet on which career path I should choose, and I understand those are 2 very different Masters offering 2 different carrers later. I just wanted to find out testimonies maybe from people who were in a similar situation and on how helpful the Masters are later when looking for work. Thanks for the post again.
