Hello everyone,
I am in doubt about whether to do a master programme in Corporate and Commercial law in Maastricht university or International Business Law in Tilburg university. Is there someone who have done any of these programmes? And I was wondering can someone share some information about the reputation of those two universities in Europe?
Thank you :)
Is Maastricht better than Tilburg University?

Hey Jordy,
Generally speaking, Maastricht university is (often a lot) higher ranked than Tilburg university. Maastricht university is currently ranked 4th in best young universities in the world (and that's a pretty neat achievement, the other top 10 ones are almost all asian ones) and it's also ranked 36th in the rankings for best universities in Europe, and ranked 88 in the times higher education rankings on best universities in the world. Objectively speaking, Tilburg doesn't even come close to it, in none of the rankings.
Having obtained an LLB in European law and almost an LLM in European law at Maastricht university, I can personally recommend its law programmes.
Please not that, as I hold no degree from Tilburg university, I unfortunatelly cannot compare the two with each other in depth. At least not on the basis of personal experience.
Best of luck with your studies
