I am going into my 3rd year of law school in the States and am really interested in finding out about studying in Europe to gain an LL.M. My first question is how difficult is it to get into a European program for a U.S. student? I saw that most programs only have 40 seats and I was wondering how comepetetive it was to get in. Second, I have read a lot about programs in Spain and how only 1 or 2 schools actually offer an "LL.M" and the rest offer "Masters" programs. Which schools, that would be recognized internationaly, are available in Spain for an LL.M. (being from South America I am comfortable with the language and love the country which is why I want to go there). Please help!
