Germany - ILF LLM in Finance

Is there anyone who is currently enrolled in the ILF's LLM in Finance in Frankfurt or has heard anything about i? I am looking for some further information besides that posted on the ILF's website. The LLM is very unique and I am very much interested in it. Is it as acclaimed as they say it is?

Hello!
I was thinking of applying there too, but the fee scared me. The programme though seems to be excellent for international finance law. The school has benefits apart from excellence of the programme. I visited the school this fall and the building is cozy and the location is wonderful! The school is around the corner from one of the most beatiful parks I've seen - Palmengarten. Frankfurt in general is very nice and easy to get around (the center of the city is not that big). If I would have saved up more money of if there would be appropriate scholarship I would apply there and would hope to get in that school. Good luck to you getting in there!

Thanks, I submitted my application and am awaiting a response. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I was very impressed when I read about the programme on the website since it was exactly what I was looking for, a mix of law and business. I am exicted about studying in Germany and learning about financial law and investment law from a European perspective. I communicated with a past student of the programme who assured me that the programme is very international and would allow you to not only work in Germany but internationally. He seemed to be very pleased with the programme.

Even im very impressed by the program. But the only thing which holds me back is that its in Germany and the language may be a problem. Also its not as recognised... how good will it be vis a vis a National University of Singapore, LSE etc.

Also, would be glad if u ppl could tell me the backgrounds to which u belong

Hello,

I'm from Africa. Also highly interested in the program. I submitted my application. They acknowledged receipt, and informed me that the outcome will be known in April/May.

The program sounds super, and I have also had a chance to visit the school. The buildings look snazzy, and has a feel of being a nice place to study.

Hope to get in!
