I think that in my case I made a strong motivation letter, and it might have helped that I have participated in a court moot competition getting very good results. I do not have experience in IHL!

Well, there is a full-scale saga with visa application coming, but other than that it does seem to be safe.
Speaking of that: have you been already contacted for the purpose of such matters as visa and/or accommodation?

Congratulations are still in order, as I think you've just gone through the hardest part of the process (i.e. obtaining the scholarship and the confirmation of it). :)

I haven't been contacted yet for visa/accommodation matters. All I know is that the LLM programme should start the week of 11 September 2017, although at that time they told me that they haven't decided the exact day yet.

Hey everyone. I've belatedly been offered a place with GA off the wait list. It is through the partial scholarship track. I have a couple of questions -

One, GA said they can only guarantee 12,000CHF for tuition scholarship at this stage as they are waiting on donor contributions before confirming the full availability of 18,000CHF to cover tuition. Has anyone received confirmation that they will be offered the full 18,000CHF or a sum above the 12,000CHF? Or the likelihood of this happening given what happened in previous years?

Two, I'll probably still need a student loan to cover living costs, whether I receive the full tuition or not. Does anyone know if Swiss banks offer student loans to foreign nationals? I am a New Zealand and Irish citizen.
