Geneva Academy Applications 2020-2021

Is there anything from LLM under non-scholarship track? Considering all you guys reply under this thread, Geneva Academy will send offer at April for those who apply for non-scholarship track. OMG, that is really a torture for me.

Both tracks have April as the deadline for admitted students. But you are right this killing me.

“WITHOUT SCHOLARSHIP

Application opens on 18 November 2019
Application closes on 28 February 2020
Admitted students and those put on a waiting list will be informed in April 2020
All non-admitted students will be informed at the latest by the end of May 2020
WITH SCHOLARSHIP

Application opens on 18 November 2019
Application closes on 31 January 2020
Admitted students and those put on a waiting list will be informed in April 2020
Non-admitted students will be informed at the latest by the end of May 2020”

Congrats! Did you apply under scholarship track or not?

I've been checking this topic for a longtime, so I decided to show up today haha. Hello everyone! I applied to the MTJ under full schorship, went through the interview but haven't heard from them since.

Guys I created an FB group for those admitted to the Geneva Academy for SY 2020-2021. Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/223708762093665/

Hoping we could help one another figure things out, especially practical ones e.g. saving basic needs costs.

Hi guys, I've been trying to submit my application for the LLM (a bit late i know) but it won't let me proceed until I attach a file regarding my degree or diploma. Since I haven't graduated from uni yet I don't know what I have to upload. Maybe my school leaving certificate?

The deadline is on Friday so any help would be really appreciated!!!

Usually you should apply with a certificate stating when is your planned graduation date and/or how much you actually miss to finish your degree. It could be with your grades obtained so far.

Yes like Andy said it’s better if you provide some proof that either you are enrolled at the current university and the expected graduation date. Even I didn’t attach my degree certificate as my university is yet to issue the certificates even though I graduated last year. However, what I did was I attached my results sheet in the other specified place and attached a signed note for the degree certificate that my university is yet to issue the degree certificate.

Hello again! I've read somebody was waitlisted, however, there would be no necessity of making a waitlist if places within the "regular" list were still vacant. Which means, I think, that all the regular places have already been filled... I don't know if I am right, and don’t want to be pessimistic, but this supposition just popped up. And you, guys, any idea?

Besides, what about this preselection or "interest claim"? The official timetable does not contemplate these procedures, which makes me so uneasy and unsure about how the selection process is going and if I still have a chance...

I wouldn't derive any conclusion at this point. It is still the first week of March. I would wait until late March/first week of April.

Hope you are right, Andy. However, the timeline makes me skeptical. They said March on the e-mail, April on the website, but people are actually receiveing their offers by February! I realy don't know what to expect.

As far as I understood (from previous threads) they kinda "preselect" and start looking for a donor. In the mean time, they inform those on the waiting list and only inform those accepted once the donor is secured. But this is my conclusion of two weeks of overthinking so... haha can't be sure.
