EMLE Program 2007/2008

GVV

I was also accepted. I will be in Bologna, Hamburg and Haifa.
By the way, I am Portuguese.

About job prospects, I knew an italian girl who started working for a Center for Policy Studies or Public Policies in Belgium after this LLM.

How does it work with housing and accommodation? Do we have to search for it or are they taking care of it?

Well, from what I've read, they'll indicate the student private institutions that can take care of it, but you'll have to pay apart I guess...

Hey GVV, congratulations! We'll be sharing two out of the three locations. Congratulations to the others who have been admitted too.
As far as I know, Bologna will tell us the options we have about accommodation, mainly private renting or a place at one of the residences there are, but we have to make the choice ourselves and pay for it.

I have the same problem regarding accomodation...

On http://groups.google.com/group/emle-0708 I started a discussion where we can share information about this and maybe find accomodation together or help each other...

Hi there!

I have been accepted for the EMLE, too: Hamburg, Gent, Manchester. Anyone else?
I got several other acceptances, e.g. I could go to Edinburgh or Nottingham Trent University (LLM in European Law) as well. I am not quite sure which program to prefer. I am grateful for any help!

as I said above, I'm going to two of your universities: Ghent (2nd term) and manchester (3rd term).

I believe that the experience you'll gain during the EMLE is unique and the fact that it's recognised by EU institutions as a good LLM increases the opportunity to find good jobs (besides high consideration of the degree).
