Can anyone give them a call and check what's happening?
Posted Mar 15, 2013 13:11
I have nothing. Nothing at all!
It's tough.

I'll wait a couple of hours, than I'll try to call them..
Posted Mar 15, 2013 13:34
Thanks Maria. Please let us know if they tell you something :)
Posted Mar 15, 2013 13:37
Yeap! =)

I tried to call the Hamburg Office, but no one picked up. I've asked a friend who studies at the Ghent University to try and talk to the coordinator there to see if there's any news... I'll try to call again in an hour or so...

Nothing! This is driving me crazy!

I'm guessing just next week. And I think Roterdam is the responsible for the non european admissions.

Hey, guys!
My name is Camila and I'm from Brazil. I've received an e-mail yesterday from Ms. Mariska Boshoven (from EMLE Administration) in which was informed that:
"The outcome of the results is expected soon. We are waiting for the approval of the European Commission."
Due to that information, I was a little bit relieved... until NOW!
I did'n know that a few acceptances were already sent! =(

Does that mean they will let us know also about the scholarships? Or just the admission?

I tried to reach the Rotterdam and Hamburg Offices for a while today. I managed to talk to a very nice lady from the Bologna Office, who said that the admission process is entirely handled by the EUR/UH, so she could'nt give me any information.
However, she tried to reach them, but she couldn't. My friend at Ghent University spoke to the local coordination office, and they said not to worry, but they also couldn't give any information and confirmed that the process is in the hands of the EUR/UH hands..
Maybe the process is taking a bit longer than expected. Anyway, I think the best approach is indeed to relax, we probably won't get any info until next week.

On a related topic:
camilafontes, would you mind sharing your qualifications/experience? I was hoping to establish a baseline of the Non-EU applicants :)
Good luck to us all!

I'm not sure...
Just hoping to get accepted with or without the scholarship =/
In the first e-mail I received from EMLE Administration, they stated that:
"Approx. by the end of March the European Commission decides on the nominations for the EM scholarships. Selected nominees will be informed a.s.a.p. "
I'm guessing there is still chance of being granted a scholarship until the end of March.

Of course I can share my background =)
I graduated in Law in December 2009. In February 2010, I was invited to be an Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) a post which I occupy to the present date.
I'm currently in the middle of a post-graduation course on Electricity Law (which I'll conclude just in time to start the LL.M, if I get accepted).

Congratulations Camila!
You were the first non-European accepted! And if they depend on European Commission you should be in the golden list of scholarships!
Have you had an interview?
Which universities did you chose?

Dear super, I was not accepted yet!
The EMLE Administration just informed me that I didn't receive my results so far because of the lack of approval of the European Comission.
I'm in the same situation as most of you: sitting, waiting, wishing...

Yes, we are in similar situations.
But some of us had interviews. Did you face a interview?

No, I didn't. Is this a bad sign?

I don't know.
Some of us had this interview - it was discussed in this topic. You may read the old posts to understand.
