Hello,

I've just received confirmation that my application is complete, and I'm now officially waiting for the results...Is there anyone else on the same situation?

Moreover, does anyone know how high is the candidate per vacancy rate lately?

Best of luck to all!

Hi Picazuro!

Same situation here. Just waiting :s

I really don´t have any information on candidates per vacancies, but it would be nice if other applicants could share information here about their background, the universities they've selected or any news on the application procedure.

I'm from Peru, currently working for a governmental entity. I've selected Bologna, Hamburg and Vienna as my three universities if I'm lucky enough to be accepted!

What about you guys?

I'm fresh out of Law School, with 2 years in Law firms working with corporate law as an Intern. Oh, I'm on the Non-EU applicants track. What about you guys?

Hi everyone,

I also applied for the EMLE 2013/2014. My application was complete and now I am waiting for results. I am from Vietnam and currently obtained an LL.M from American University, Washington College of Law in DC, USA. I have worked 2 years in law firm in Vietnam. Currently, I am interning in the US Library of Congress.

Wish everyone had a blast new year and good luck on the EMLE application.

Best,
Loi

Hi everyone, I also have submitted my application to the program. I have chose Rotterdam, Bologna and Hamburg as well. It seems to be the most popular route. However, I'm one of the applicants who has not graduated from a law school, but I still seek my chance. Best of luck to all...

I think we shouldn't count on receiving any news at least until march, since the Application Timeline states they will be sending the admission letters in mid-march.

You can check out the timeline through the following link:
http://www.emle.org/Subpages_rubric/index.php?rubric=Timeline

On the other hand, the applicants for the 2012/2013 term received their letters in early february, so we can expect anything any day now...

Keep your fingers crossed!

Hi,

Based on last year's post, it seems like these interviews are made just with applicants on the EU-track. Have you got any emails about it?

Yes, I did.

The interview must be in the forthcoming week.

I applied for a non European scholarship.

I really need a scholarship, anyone.

Congrats, super! I think you're the first one to receive word from them.. which unfortunately means bad news for me, since I won't be able to go if I don't get a scolarship.

Would you mind sharing with us your qualifications?

Many thanks!

No, I don't mind.

As I can easily see, you master English better than me. I have got 96 in Toefl itb, and it was almost a miracle for my #1 test.

I am graduated in law and engineering and I am post graduated in corporate law. I have a master degree in economic law (studing corporate governance) and I have been in a PhD in strategic finance (also studying governance but with quantitative methods and econometrics). I always used EAL since my first published papers in 2000. I master calculus, econometrics and financial theory better than I master English.

I am 31 years old. It's easy to have experience when you are old like me. I have been teaching law in private and public universities - and practicing law as attorney - for years. Now I am a public servant... There's no great opportunities in private corporations in a socialist and undeveleped country like mine.. The corrupt government control all corporations - managed by politicians and personal allies.

In my country we have more lawyers and law schools than the rest of the World. Law schools here are Marxist brainwash centers... Many taxi drivers and street-sweepers have law degrees... But 99% of the lawers here have never heard about EAL... And not even about the basic economic ideas... They jus know how to repet the same communist ideology.

I live in Brazil. And you, where are you from?

No, I don't mind.

Still nothing here. Like I said before, I think only the people who are being considered for the grant do this interview. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of them (yet), therefore my chances of goin are practically zero now.

I've sent a mail asking for a estimate date for the results, but I haven't received any response yet.

Does anyone have any other news?
