I was offered a place in Leiden's LL.M. (Adv.) in European & International Business Law in early December, which I have accepted. I have also been nominated for the Huygens Scholarship, and I hope that I will receive it!

I sent my application on December 19 and heard no news for now.

Got conditional admission from Leiden ( I have to send the original copies of Transcript and Diploma):) together with HSP nomination letter.

Anyone else admitted recently? And I have a question: Though I am applying for Huygens scholarship I still want to try Leiden's internal scholarships and can it be possible?

Congratulations, well you can apply to Netherlands Fellowship Program that's another option. :) The deadline is in March 1 if I am not mistaken - this program is on the same web-page as HSP and just find the additional info.

nope, its the normal LL.M. in PIL - so we probably wouldnt have any courses together :-/

The fellowship programme sounds nice but my passport doesnt allow me to do that...its only for nationals of the listed states....oh how the law always tells us we're all equal ;-))))
anyway, I just gotta work over the summer ;-)

Well, as for the requirements for application. It depends, when I applied for LeX scholarship, I only needed to write a 500 words motivation outlining the reasons why should they fund me that's all.

If won a scholarship, how do usually you manage your living expences and accomodation costs if scholarship doesn't cover this matter ? should I find additional financing - sponsoring ? or maybe university provide you with work ?
and if not can students cover their living expences by working ?
do you know smth about this

actually I count on full scholarship which shall include expenses for my living costs, accommodation etc. I you don't get finances for living costs than I suggest u better raise funds in your country or elsewhere as working while studying at Leiden might quite hard.

Well, you may send your question to Leiden International office and I am sure they'll respond more precisely.
