HI! Even I've been selected for the Course, I was wondering if any alumni could shed some light on the Arbitration Course, how it is structured and what are the chances of employment after the course is completed and who/from where do the recruiters come from.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm not an alumni, but I know many alumni from Stockholm. I also met many of them at the recent Vis in Vienna. They all had great things to say about the program. As far as jobs go, they are all employed either at big firms or arbitral institutions. However, the school doesn't guarantee a job. It's up to you to network and do the work necessary to get a job. From what I gather, if you do the work it'll pay off :) PM me if you want to chat more since we may be fellow students soon

Hi, I'm a law student from India, will be graduating in two months. Really excited about coming to Stockholm! Was wondering if the post LLM recruitment was University-assisted or not. I plan to work in a firm for a few years, preferably London based and then return home. :)

Hey, now I got an offer from QMU. Now I'm in a dilemma. : /

I've also been admitted to the program starting September 2013. However, I have a few questions maybe someone can answer.
For instance, how many students are admitted each year for the program? The reason I ask this, because I'm really surprised I got selected for this program. I'm not a straight A student and it took me many, many years to finish law school and another master studies. How many students apply each year?
What are the professors/director of the program looking for in prospective students? Is there a more direct/informal contact possible with the professors? Do they know you by name, etc?
What are the job opportunities after graduating? I've been applying for jobs in my home country since October 2011 and till last year April 2012, I couldn't find a job. The economic crisis is bad here. I don't have high grades at all, so it's understandable that law firms only want to hire graduates with excellent grades.
That's when I decided to start looking around to start studying again. There were two programs that caught my interest. One was Stockholm, the other one was an advanced program called Chinese Business Law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Brussels, Belgium. Since the program in Brussels is quite expensive, I decided to apply first for Stockholm to see if I could get in. Never in a million years I have thought that I would be admitted.
What kind of arbitration competitions does the program participate in? Do they participate in the Vis Moot? If so, is it only the one in Vienna or do they also participate in the Vis Moot East?
Btw, April 18th the second notification of selection results will be published.

HI, I have no clue as to criteria for selection, there must be non-academic criteria as well. I just wanted to know how the University placement procedure works if there is any. I have gotten through Queen Mary as well, thoroughly confused now.
