Hi everyone, I am an Indian Law student. I am planning on doing my Masters from Canada followed by a Doctorate. My ultimate aim is to get a Law-teaching job in Canada. Is such a plan feasible for an Indian student?
Wish to do LLM, Doctorate and then apply for professorship

Not to be harsh, but having just a doctorate makes your CV look kinda thin if you're aiming for professor-level jobs. Browse the lists of faculty on the kinds of schools you'd be looking at teaching in, and see what's common in terms of backgrounds. From what I see today, law schools put a high value a certain level of private practice, and / or a strong commitment to research, as demonstrated by publications, books, etc.
