I completed my application for the coursework-only LLM (no concentration) yesterday, and just got updated to "under review"!

How is everyone's application process going?

Also, does anyone know if there will be rolling admissions this year as well? It seems like they will send offers in late April only, which is really late considering that most schools send offers way earlier and may have an earlier deadline for acceptance and payment of the deposit. Do you guys have a strategy regarding this issue?

Good to hear that your application status has been updated to under review. I am yet to finish my SOP(numerous drafts and something just doesn’t click. But then I may not be the only one who goes through this.) Coming to your query pertaining to rolling admissions, the website clearly states that ‘applications are no longer considered on a rolling basis. All admission decisions will be sent during the last two weeks of April.’

Ah yes the SOP. It took me a few months to finally feel satisfied with mine. Considering that they will send out offers only in late April though (which is what I thought, I was just hoping they would send out a few before then since acceptation deadlines for other schools are much earlier), I would say that there is no rush!

Have you applied in any other Canadian university as well?
I took my sop right down to the wire and finally submitted it on 17th January. Most annoying period (of waiting to hear from them) has started now. I must thankyou for wishing me the best.

No I haven't, I have only applied to universities in the UK (except for UofT obviously).
Yes, it seems like we won't hear anything from them before late April...

Ah yes, they’ll not be conveying decisions before April. What is worrying me is that my status still reads documents pending, despite the delivery of hard copies of supporting documents before deadline. Hope more applicants join the discussion soon. You have any information regarding the number of intakes here at ut?

It is said that "The law faculty receives over 100 doctoral applications and over 250 LLM applications per year." and "Each year, approximately 8 new doctoral students and 40 new LLM students join the Faculty."

I hope your status gets sorted out soon! Mine already says "under review", probably because my application was complete way earlier than the January 13th deadline

Thank you! They sent me an email with the letters and all the relevant information, on the portal it only says « decision made » :)

My application status got updated to “Under Review,” after showing documents pending for nearly 2 months.

Could you tell me if you have applied for financial assistance as well

oh my god! Congratulations!!!!
I thought they were only going to let us all know during the last two weeks of April? The wait is daunting. I applied pretty late and I'm worried sick.

I just recieved an email telling me I've been admitted to the Legal Theory concentration, short thesis. Good luck to those waiting!

Also just got my admission email for the business concentration. Will be turning it down for Columbia, but still really flattered and honoured - U of T is a great school. :)
