Hello,

Has anyone received offers or decisions from UBC for their LLM application for entry this year? Or does anyone know when they give out decisions?

Thanks

Hi,

I called them last week and they have advised decisions go out in March. Are you a UK student or a practicing lawyer in another country?

Thanks for the reply. I graduated from the UK in 2016.
One would think that with such an early deadline, decisions would be out sooner.

No problem! I would think the same. They started checking applications in January. Were you able to obtain a job in Canada after graduating or are you taking the LLM to fulfill NCA requirements?

Has anyone else heard anything recently? I was hoping that the 15th would mean they were going to start sending decisions...

Do you know if it was for the LLM Common Law program, or a different one? I'm also an international applicant, and I hope to receive some sort of decision soon that I can proceed with the visa application...

Hi
I am apply to UBC for the LLM,CL program. I was looking for information on the documentation. Do they require official transcripts to be sent over at the time of applying or will the scanned copies of the original documents work?
I would really appreciate if anybody could help me with this.

Hi Anisha! According to this link http://www.allard.ubc.ca/master-laws-llm-common-law-program-how-apply, they say "You are not required to submit hard copies of your transcripts unless you are made an offer of admission. Further instructions will follow". Therefore, you must wait for the official admission, and then you'll have to submite hard copies.

You can find here the instructions for uploading scanned copies of official transcripts for International credentials: https://www.grad.ubc.ca/prospective-students/application-admission/international-students-transcripts

Good luck!
