Hello everyone,
I am applying to a couple of doctoral programmes in Canada (Toronto SJD-Queen's). Have anyone received admission offer from either of these programmes? If so, please could you supply me with some details like your profile, application date, when the offer was made, funding, etc...
Just a bit worried as I submitted my applications a bit late and as per the website, they operate a rolling admission process, so I may have less chance at this stage.
Thanks in advance for your support.

I wouldn't be too worried about it. While they say it is 'rolling', it really isn't for the SJD.
They don't even meet to review applications under after the deadline because they rank the candidates and can't do that properly without knowing who all the candidates are. With ~100 candidates it takes some time for the committee to get feedback from potential supervisors and to review the files, so just sit tight for awhile.
Good luck!

Thanks for your response. By the way, are you applying to the SJD programme? It looks like you are currently taking the Toronto LLM. Has it been a good experience? I am asking as my SJD application has been rejected but I was offered a place in the LLM instead. I am considering this option but not completely sure yet as my initial intention is to study for a PhD. The letter states that they were very enthusiastic about my application and will be considered for funding at a later stage. Maybe having an LLM from Toronto will give me a better chance for the SJD but...who knows. May I ask you what do yu think?
Best of luck!!
Best of luck!!
