Hi everyone,
I got an offer of admission for LL.M. (Thesis). But I'm a bit confused. According to the website of McGill Law, the tuition fee for three full-time terms amounts to nearly $28,000, while I've heard of both higher and lower tuition fees. Could you please share your ideas on this issue? Also, the website specifies that LL.M. (Thesis) is typically completed within 16 to 24 months. Does it mean that it cannot be completed within only one year? Thanks!

Congrats! As to your question, I'm not sure. It would certainly be worth asking the Faculty about - like you, and if I am admitted, I would be hoping to complete within 12 months. Since you are already admitted, you may get more responsiveness to your query given how relevant it will be to your ultimate decision.

Thanks! Fair enough! It's better to ask the Faculty, though as per the program requirements, at least, three full-time terms of residency are required, which typically amount to one year.

I have received acceptance to McGill non thesis and the letter says that the tution is $36,800 for three full terms (Fall 2020, Winter 2021 and Summer 2021). However the website says around 24,000 CAD. Does anyone
have any information on this?
