I am Niharika and have just completed my LLb from India and graduated this month itself. I am planning to pursue LLM from canada and subsequently give Nca exams to get enrolled in the bar. I am searching for canadian or common law courses so that later when applying for job, I have knowledge and degree on canadian law too. MY queries are:
1. how competitive is admission in Ubc? I have no prof experience but by the time i start my LLm i would be down with 9 months of exp. And have first division marks. above 60%.
2. what are the job prospects after the common law course from Ubc? til I get approved my NCA.
Would really appreciate if someone could guide me. I am planning to apply for summer 2015.
